Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA Assistant - MIT Visiting Lecturer - Scola de Belas Artes, Arquitectura, Lisbon I have studied Art in Warsaw, Architecture at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge. Member of the American Watercolor Society and SARP. Visiting Lecturer at the Academia de Belas Artes, 3rd EASA, Lisbon. MIT - Professor Assistant in 1990-91. Teaching positions offered by the FRESS (Lisboa) and Kuwait University. I have created about 600 original paintings & drawings which are in collections in 16 countries. In 1985-95, I was a member of The Copley Society of Boston (the oldest art gallery in the US) and the American Watercolor Society. I am listed by the NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art and many leading art databases worldwide. GRUZEWSKI (Lubicz) Family originates from Mazowsze and Zmudz. Since 1579, owners of Kielmy Estate. Jan and Mikolaj Gruzewscy - associates of Prince Boguslaw and Piotr Radziwill. Jerzy Gruzewski (1592-1651) - Hetman Koronny of Lithuania. In ~1673 Jakub Gruzewski married Ana Potocki. Additional family ties with Polish noble families: Oginski, Polubinski, Sapieha, and Wlodzimierz the Great, the Grand Duke of Kijew. Juliusz Gruzewski -was a leader of "Styczniowe" Uprising against Russian occupation (1831), later became an Ambassador to Switzerland, and co-founded known the Patek-Philipe watch manufacturing company in Geneve.  |
